The Employee Health and Wellness Committee at Geraldton District Hospital is pleased to announce, that through their diligent efforts, managed to raise $1,116.00 at the hospital’s annual Christmas Dance.  This is the highest amount ever raised!

The Committee members decided to keep the funds within the community and chose the ‘Want-a-Pet’ organization to donate the funds to help a litter of new puppies (7 in total) that came into the care of its President, Luisa Wilson.

The puppies are all ready for adoption and as you can see, Ms. Wilson has done a great job in keeping them all healthy and up to date with shots and vet checks. The 7 are from the same litter.

Ms. Wilson thanked everyone and was very grateful for the donation.  The staff and some patients, who were fortunate enough to see these beauties, were all enamoured and wish to say that should you or your family be seeking a new puppy to please consider adopting and give a home to one of these puppies.  Any one of them will be a wonderful addition to your family.
