Generator Building

Geraldton District Hospital Supports Local Business

Geraldton District Hospital is in the final stages of upgrading its back-up generator service to the building.  The project was subsidized by a Hospital Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF) grant of $69,000 received from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.

The building that will be housing the new generator has been constructed by Greenstone Structural Solutions using engineered building panels made locally in Geraldton.  The remainder of the project is being completed by various other contracting companies.
