Hospital Auxiliary Donation

On Tuesday, October 18, 2016, Auxiliary Executive members Dorothy Friske and Myrna Letourneau presented the Geraldton District Hospital with a donation in the amount of $7,500. This was accomplished through fund raising efforts with the help of our volunteers. They put in countless hours to assist the hospital in purchasing various items over the years to assist with the care of our community. This year the funds will go towards the purchase of a glidescope, which helps during times of trauma; when an open airway is vital. It allows the physician to insert a tube into the airway so that oxygen can be delivered and breathing can be restored. It is a life saving measure.

The hospital would like to thank our volunteers and acknowledge this generous donation.
