Strategic Plan Renewal Jan2013
Strategic Planning Focus Group Meetings
A Strategic Plan is a road map for the future. It describes where the Hospital wants to be and how it will get there. The last Strategic Plan was developed in 2010 for a 4-year period.
The 2010-2014 Strategic Plan concentrated on the following five directions:
- Forming Partnerships
- Implementing New Programs and Services
- Recruiting and Retaining Health Human Resources
- Enhancing Physical Facilities and Building Service Equipment
- Strengthening Risk Management and Quality Improvement Processes
All of the above noted priorities impact patient care in a positive manner. Over the next month, focus group meetings will be held with Hospital Staff, Medical Staff, Francophone community, First Nations communities, community health care partners and the community at large to obtain input needed to develop the 2014 - 2018 Strategic Plan.
Lori Marshall, a health care consultant from Thunder Bay, will be facilitating the focus group meetings.
