Geraldton's recreation department offers a full range of invigorating activities for all ages. The recreation centre has both an ice rink and curling club. Our community boasts a 24-hour gym with up to date equipment, tennis courts, figure skating, hockey programs, a karate club and volleyball, basketball and badminton courts.  Kenogamisis Golf Club offers a challenging 18 hole course with tournaments held throughout the season. The club membership is actively supported with mens' and ladys' nights combined with a growing junior program.Miles of groomed snowmobiling trails for the avid sledder connect the neighbouring communities as part of the A-1 system of trails running across the province and country.  MacLeod Provincial Park is the centre of summer activity which captures many seasonal and weekend campers. Our music jamboree in August has always attracted large audiences who are entertained with renowned bands and musicians. Fishing all year round will allow you to embrace all of the seasons in their splendor. Camping, hunting, canoeing, and kayaking can all be enjoyed just minutes from your doorstep as Geraldton is surrounded by neighbouring lakes and rivers in the midst of the northern boreal forest.
