“Who Wants To Be $200 Richer”

Yes, this is a takeoff of the hit TV show “Who Wants to be a Millionaire”.  The big difference is that the Hospital does not have a million dollars to give away.  However, many people would be happy with $200.

There will be 5 multiple-choice questions.  The first question is worth $10, the second $15, the third $25, the fourth $50 and the fifth and final question will be worth $100.  If the participant gets the correct answer, then he/she receives the cash and moves to the next question.  If the answer is wrong, then the participant keeps the cash already won and is thanked for his/her efforts.

All questions will be based on the history of the Hospital and general health information.  Most information to answer the questions can be found on the Hospital’s website at www.geraldtondh.com.

There will be a total of 22 participants.  One grade 8 student and one grade 12 student from each of the 9 elementary schools and each of the 3 high schools respectively within the Hospital’s service area will be invited.  There will be three Hospital staff, one volunteer and one physician.  The lucky individuals will be determined by a draw.  Finally, there will be 5 participants drawn from the audience.

The contest will be held at the Geraldton Curling Club starting at 7:00 p.m.
