Geraldton District Hospital Receives Support for Green Energy Audit

With support of the Ontario government through the OntarioBuys Initiative, the Ontario Hospital Association (OHA) has established the Green Energy Champion Fund (GHCF) to help Ontario hospitals improve their environmental performance and reduce operating costs through the implementation of green projects.

Through this initiative, the OHA released the GHCF audit program.  Geraldton District Hospital has taken part of this program to help increase funding for mechanical and electrical upgrades required in our facility.  Union Gas Limited, being GDH’s Natural Gas provider has contributed financial support in the sum of $6,684.00 for the completion of the GHCF audit.
