Hospital Receives Accreditation

Last month, Geraldton District Hospital was notified by Accreditation Canada that the Hospital met all applicable national standards to achieve full accreditation.  This achievement demonstrates the Hospital’s determination and commitment to ongoing quality improvement.

The accreditation process is a continuous process over a three-year period.  Management, staff, physicians, volunteers and community partners spend thousands of hours working on new standards and checking reoccurring standards.

Congratulations to everyone for their efforts and dedication to the provision of safe, quality health services.
